The Inter American University of Puerto Rico, Aguadilla Campus, appreciates very much your service as a proctor of one of our students.  Please follow these instructions when you proctor an online test:

Before starting the test:

• The proctor should not be family, friend or have any other relationship with the student.
• Schedule with the student the date and time you will administer the test.
• You will receive by e-mail the necessary information and passwords for the test.
• On test date, ask the student for photo ID.
• The student should take the test only at proctor’s working place. No other place.

Getting started for the test:

• The Inter American University of Puerto Rico uses Blackboard Vista to provide online courses. A student enrolled in an online course has an ID number, which is used to enter the course with a password. When the student takes a proctored test, he/she will log into the online course and select the link for the exam.  The test will require a password. The proctor is responsible to enter the password for the test and under any circumstance should not give it to the student. Remember that all passwords are “case sensitive”.  After the password is entered, the student will start the test.
• The student must be informed of professor’s instructions.

While the student is taking the test:

• Supervise the student while taking the test.

La Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Aguadilla, agradece mucho su servicio como custodio de uno nuestros estudiantes. Favor de seguir las siguientes instrucciones cuando custodie un examen en línea:

Antes de comenzar el examen:

• El custodio no debe tener ningún parentesco, amistad u otra relación personal con el estudiante.
• Coordinar con el estudiante la fecha y hora que administrará el examen.
• Recibirá por correo electrónico la información necesaria y las contraseñas para el examen.
• El día del examen se le solicitará al estudiante una identificación con foto.
• El estudiante tomará el examen en el lugar de trabajo del custodio.  No en otro lugar.

Dando inicio al examen:

• La Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico utiliza Blackboard Vista para proveer los cursos en línea. El estudiante matriculado en nuestros cursos en línea posee un número de identificación, el cual utilizará con una contraseña para entrar a la clase. En el momento del estudiante tomar un examen custodiado, entrará a su curso en línea y seleccionará el examen a tomar. El examen solicitará  una contraseña.  El proctor es responsable de entrar la contraseña para el examen y bajo ninguna circunstancia se lo dará al estudiante. Recuerde que la contraseña es sensible a las letras mayúsculas y minúsculas.  Después de entrar la contraseña, el estudiante podrá comenzar su examen.
• Se le informará al estudiante las instrucciones del profesor.

Mientras el estudiante toma el examen:

• Supervisará al estudiante mientras toma el examen.

The faculty offer tests for distance learning courses intended to measure the student.  In some occasions it may require the assistance of a proctor to administer the tests. The Aguadilla Campus has different options where the student may take a proctored test.

Proctored test at other campuses or cybernetic centers of the Institution

Does not require Proctor Application Form.  The student outside of Aguadilla Campus area must choose from Institution’s Proctor Directory the nearest place to take his test. Must call the selected place by phone in advance and attend on test date with student identification card.

Proctored test at institutions outside of Puerto Rico

Student outside of Puerto Rico must submit in advance the Proctor Application Form, which is valid only one semester.  Please follow these instructions:

• The proctor should not be family, friend or have any other relationship with the student.
• The proctor should be:
  1. A faculty member, professional librarian or a fulltime administrator of an educative institution;
  2. A professional librarian or a fulltime library administrator;
  3. If he or she is from the armed forces, a higher ranking officer, a non military officer personnel of an education center or librarian.
• The proctor’s e-mail must be of the Institution he/she is employed. Web mail services as yahoo, Gmail, hotmail, msn, among others, are not accepted.
• Send the Proctor Application Form to e-mail: avelez@aguadilla.inter.edu
• Student will be notified if the Proctor Application Form is approved or not.
• When the Proctor Application Form is approved, the proctor will receive by e-mail the passwords and instructions for the test.
• The student is responsible to contact the proctor for date and hour arrangement for the test.
• The proctor will be present when the student takes the online test and will supervise in his working area and no other place.

ES IMPORTANTE TENER ACCESO AL CORREO ELECTRÓNICO.

Para poder acceder a Blackboard Learn o a Inter Web, debe tener acceso a su correo electrónico provisto por la Universidad.

CORREO ELECTRÓNICO – OFFICE 365

La Universidad le proporciona un correo electrónico a cada estudiante y es importante que el estudiante lo utilice periódicamente. El correo es a través de Office 365, donde el estudiante tiene acceso a las diferentes aplicaciones de Microsoft Office completamente gratis.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA ACCEDER:

Nombre de usuario (username) asignado, luego @agu.inter.edu .

Recordar el formato: Si su nombre es Juan Pueblo y su número de estudiante es A00123456 su nombre de usuario es jupu3456@agu.inter.edu .

Contraseña (password) – Si no ha cambiado la contraseña, entonces debe ser como sigue: Agu y luego su fecha de nacimiento (formato: mes, día y los dos últimos dígitos del año), ejemplo: si su fecha de nacimiento es el 25 de enero de 1996, su contraseña es Agu012596.

Inter Web

Inter Web es el sistema de información del estudiante, aquí puede ver o cambiar su información personal, ver su matrícula, solicitar una transcripción de crédito, realizar la matrícula, hacer pagos, ver sus notas finales, verificar y aceptar las ayudas (beca o préstamos) entre otras alternativas.

Para acceder debe entrar a https://web.inter.edu (InterWeb).
